The Architect of Chaos, the Weaver of Worlds, the Supreme Arbiter of "Are You Sure You Want to Do That?" The unseen force behind every whispered legend, lurking horror, and unfortunate critical failure. I am the voice of gods and monsters, the keeper of secrets, the spinner of impossible choices. With a smirk (or a groan), I craft intricate plots only to watch them unravel at the hands of unpredictable adventurers. A master of lore, imposter syndrome, and emergency improvisation, I thrive in the beautiful disaster that is Hammanaroth!

Rick started his journey into RPGs with the Tunnels and Trolls and Dragon Warrior books which quickly evolved into playing DnD, many....many moons ago., and is now the co-creator of Hammanaroth. When not enjoying time with my family you can find him at the boxing gym, on his motorbike, building LEGO or more likely at the computer working on the podcast and related projects

Sorogark D’Kuuz, a Hobgoblin warrior who hails from the Empire of Thuul Shenn, is a fearless and uncompromising man bound by his honour and his vows to the Warriors Measure of the Red Blade. He travels Hammanaroth looking to gain a reputation as the worlds greatest swordsman so he may restore his family name in the eyes of the Emperor and win back his parents’ familial nobility. Often at odds with the other party member’s world views, Sorogark is none the less protective of his companions and will kill to safeguard them… as long as it aligns with his code of ethics.

Sean is an old school D&D Player who fondly remembers when AD&D was released (“remember THAC0 and those awesome Monster Manual Binders – I wish those were still a thing”). He says he played some great D&D as a young man, and has been looking for that same feeling… and with Hammanaroth, he has finally found it. He loves a little party tension and a little more laughter, he is now also running TTRPGs for his children and their friends, bringing the joy of D&D to a new generation.

Born with wild magic, he was repeatedly told he was a burden and a curse upon his family, eventually it led to him running away from home to seek the origins of his power. Despite his upbringing, he wears his heart on his sleeve in a constant search for the affection and validation he never received growing up.

Sarah is a wannabe hobbit, compulsive crafter, and self-confessed nerd. She loves discussing all things sci-fi and fantasy, but she’s at her happiest with she can talk anything Harry Potter or Jim Henson. Sarah’s brain is 90% creativity and 10% remembering to look after herself, so when she’s not designing, crafting, gardening, gaming, costuming, cooking, painting, writing, photographing, or editing something, you’ll find her lifting heavy things at the gym or curling up with a good TV show.

The (Useless) Space Between the Moon and the Stars is a Lizardfolk mystic caught between prophecy and reality. Marked from hatching as a leader, he struggles with the role, seeking wisdom over conquest. Unlike his kin, he walks a path shaped by experience rather than bloodshed. Though he has explored the world beyond the Black Marsh, he remains bound by its traditions. Inquisitive yet unshaken by nature’s brutality, he bears the weight of prophecy with quiet resolve.

Some do podcasts for fame. Others for improv. Me? I just wanted to be a big blue lizardman with an unfortunate name. My TTRPG journey started in the late ‘90s with Vampire: The Masquerade, D&D 3.5, and Cyberpunk 2020. Since then, I’ve played everything from swamp hags to space ninjas—but nothing has stuck quite like this scaly disaster, inspiring tales and epic fails alike.

Evelyn "Eve" Veldoran is a devoted Divine Arbiter of the Seraphic Church, raised from infancy in the secluded Elderwood convent after being abandoned. A tiefling taught to reject her infernal bloodline in favor of the righteous fury of the goddess Seraphina, Eve was trained in combat, survival, and the sacred rites of retribution deep within the Shoed Forest. Now fully initiated, she has set out into the world to spread Seraphina’s will and earn her own tale of divine glory. Though forged in a strict and wrathful faith, Eve is kindhearted, sincere, and perhaps overly idealistic—unprepared for the moral complexities and hidden truths of the world beyond the convent walls.

It isn't pretty or polished but it keeps me out of trouble making LEGO vids - Sorogark goes to work in Episode 1

Two mates, bound by DnD since 2004, forged a friendship through RPGs, board games, and an appreciation for the absurd. With 65+ years of combined experience rolling dice, we spent years chasing the RPG dragon—only to find it in our own homebrew world, packed with pop culture nods and ridiculous fun. The next step? Assembling a crew that matched our love for immersive storytelling and unfiltered hilarity. After a few false starts and practice runs, we finally hit our stride—and the podcast was born.
First and foremost, we’re making this for us—our group, our fun, our ridiculous adventures. No over-polished, curated content here—just raw, unfiltered storytelling where fun always comes first. Our goal? Put it out there, see what happens, and let the chaos unfold. If you’re reading this, a massive thank you for spending some of your precious time with our crazy stories. We hope you enjoy the ride as much as we do!
We’re releasing new episodes fortnightly, with the occasional accompanying LEGO animation or still—because funsies. Everything is self-funded, and while we’ve worked hard on the audio, it’s a learning curve. Expect steady improvements—from the rough early episodes (yes, we forgot to turn a mic on… twice) to better performances and sound quality over time.
We’re lucky to have an amazing artist and marketing wizard in the group, but they are busy folk and can only do so much, so for now, we’ll use AI for some images and support where needed—clearly labeled for transparency.
A huge THANK YOU to anyone tuning in and spreading the word! We’re open to constructive feedback to help us improve but won’t engage with trolls. And if all goes well, expect more podcasts beyond 'Chronicles of Hammanroth'—new systems, different DMs, and plenty more ridiculous stories to come!
